Reality shows can be interesting, if they have a story-line and real (not perfect) characters who are forced to change because they have to interact with strangers or because their tempers/comfort zones are challenged. Then, why oh why wouldn’t I enjoy Jersey Shore, MTV’s latest reality show franchise?

Awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to someone who strives to create peace could be a really powerful gesture, but I don’t think the media clearly presented the implications. Most people aren’t aware of the violence happening in other countries, as much of it is not reported by the American news media.
